Okay, it’s a little more complex than that, so here’s an example. There are trees all around us. Big beautiful trees in yards, parks, and lining roads. Often enough, these trees are removed for one reason or another. These felled trees are regularly turned into firewood, or a lot of the time just dumped to rot away out of existence. We think that’s a shame! These big beautiful trees have had decades to grow and develop a portrait of sorts with magnificent grain, color, and character. Our lumber comes from salvaging these trees with local tree services and sawmills.
